What is C5 Ministry?

Capstone Church Community Counseling Center offers a faith based approach to counseling that provides care through a Gospel-centered lens. We are passionate about restoration, committed to the truths presented in Scripture, increasingly aware of the power of the Holy Spirit,
intentional about glorifying God in what we say and do, and humbled to have opportunities to walk alongside of those who
want to know more about Jesus Christ.

What does "Gospel-Centered Counseling" mean?

C5 Ministry believes that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6) as well as the fullness of God (Colossians 2:9). We also believe that He is the Word of God (John 1:1), the atonement for the sins of man (Romans 3:25), and that nothing is impossible for Him (Luke 1:37). Therefore, we esteem the Bible as infallible, and we hold firmly to the belief that the promises it makes are true and trustworthy. Jesus Christ, the long-awaited Messiah who was both fully God and fully man, is the center of all the counsel we offer.

What types of counseling does C5 Ministry provide?

Our counseling services include, but are not limited to, individual, marriage, premarital, child, adolescent, and crisis counseling. Lay counselors are also available as needed for those receiving counseling from a C5 staff member.

How much does it cost to receive counseling from C5 ministry?

Each session with our staff counselors is $40. A counseling session typically lasts one hour.

  • Several years after graduating from Clemson University, Anna went back to school and received her Master of Science degree in Biblical Counseling from Bob Jones University. Anna’s passion for discipleship and complete transformation through the power of God by Scripture are what inspired her to pursue a career in counseling, and she firmly believes that Jesus Christ, the great Physician, is able to heal and restore any and all brokenness we have, replacing hopelessness with hope and doubt with assurance. She has experience with marital/premarital counseling, as well as helping individuals learn how to overcome anxiety, grief, depression, guilt, conflicts within relationships, and temptations through a reliance on the Word of God and the Holy Spirit. Anna enjoys adventuring with her husband and their son, reading, music, and spending as much time outside as possible.

  • Joel has been faithfully serving in a variety of different areas within ministry for eight years. A graduate of Liberty University, he has a Bachelor of Science degree in Religion and a Master of Arts degree in Pastoral Counseling. Joel is passionate about sharing the truth from the Word of God with those who are broken and hurting, because he has experienced firsthand the hopelessness that comes with not knowing the ability to overcome that is ours through faith in Jesus Christ. He believes that God is who empowers him, and he regards his role as a facilitator of the Holy Spirit to be a byproduct of the power of God. Joel is married to his sweetheart, Candie, and they have three children, Kaylee, Chloe, and Lucas. He is, also, involved in his community, and he offers his love for sports to his city as a youth coach.
