How

One of the first questions we get with Advance the Kingdom is "How." How much is this going to cost and how are we going to do it?

The early cost estimate of this Kingdom Investment is $5 Million. This includes all architecture and contractor fees, the construction cost of the building, parking lots, chairs, lights, furniture, and audiovisual. This is our current budget but we know from the past two years materials, labor, and the economy can turn at any moment up or down. The past year we have been looking not only at what this would cost, but also at what we could afford and the best way to be good stewards of what the Lord has blessed us with.

You might be asking how are we going to pay for this. Great question. The breakdown would be Capstone saving and raising $2 Million and securing a loan for $3 Million. Ever since we paid off the first Expansion for Capstone Kids in 2018 we have continued to put money away in a building fund on a monthly basis and increase the savings every year. This fund currently has $520,000 in it. The plan will be to continue to increase that monthly payment in 2023 and 2024 to where we will have $1 Million saved at the start of 2025. That is the first $1 Million- simply savings from our weekly Tithes. The second $1 Million is what we want to raise this month through our Advance The Kingdom campaign. We will be asking for a 36-month stewardship campaign from our Capstone Family starting in January 2023 and will be inviting others in our community to invest in this Kingdom Expansion as well.

If you are like me, you are like WHOA that’s a lot. It is and it isn’t. If we expect a few people to do the work and sacrifice – yeah we won’t get close. As we have seen in our Advance the Kingdom Series studying the book of Nehemiah that it wasn’t one person, family, or tribe who rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem but a community linking arms and seeing a way to restore what was broken.

Will you join us in helping Advance the Kingdom here in Fountain Inn and beyond?
