Lent - Day 1

READ: Matthew 6:5-6

OBSERVE: We live in a world where getting noticed is important and often rewarded. Prayer is different. Prayer is often most rewarding when it goes unnoticed.

APPLY: Think about your day. When are a few times you might be able spend quiet time talking to God? Is there a new place you can go, a new posture you can be in, or a new practice you could build into each day?

PRAY: Listen to God today. Still your thoughts and try to listen for what God might want to tell you today.
