Our Luke series begins with the Who and What of the Author. Luke was a disciple of Paul, a Gentile, and a Physician. He writes Luke and Acts as a defense for Paul as he goes on trial before Caesar.

We begin in Luke 3 with John the Baptist and his message of repenting and Believing in the wilderness that softens the hearts of Israel in preparation for the coming Messiah. We see Jesus baptized and discuss what the means for us. Jesus begins his ministry in submission and humility.
