Day 19 | Addiction

1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation, he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

Addiction isn’t anything new to our struggles. The flesh and its brokenness is fertile ground for addictions to take root and overwhelm us. Addiction isn’t just alcohol or drugs, but it is an unhealthy connection to anything – food, social media, television, etc. Addiction is really anything we go to other than God to complete us. Pray for the Lord to reveal anything in your life that might be an addiction. Pray for the strength to break that addiction. Also, pray for those who you know are overwhelmed with the addictions of this world.
