Day 11 | Local government

Romans 13:1–2
Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment.

Leading is never easy, especially during a pandemic. May we listen, love, and encourage those who lead our local communities. The Lord has placed you under their authority and desires that they would see Him in your actions. Spend some time in prayer today for those in leadership positions in your local government. Maybe send a note to your local leaders telling them Thank You for their leadership.
